About the event

Race Route: The 5-kilometer (3.1 miles) course starts and finishes at Smith Park (Downtown Jackson, MS.) No Runners/Walkers will be allowed to enter the race after 7:35pm.

All proceeds benefit scholarships fo students meeting applicaton requirements.

Race Runner Awards:

  • 1st place: $100
  • 2nd place: $50
  • 3rd place: $25

All entry fees are non-refundable. In the event of rain, all colelcted fees will be donated to the Nate Ruffin Scholarship Fund.  For information, contact Oliver Sims, Chair at (601) 940-2184.
